Inside the box

Somewhere around the third submission, buying holders in small bags starts to look silly. This is the restock for that stage. Five hundred semi-rigid holders and five hundred soft sleeves, meant for people who prep orders at the kitchen table every month, or who gather cards from friends and a local club and send them out as one group. One box under the desk covers several rounds of grading.

Bulk prep goes faster with a routine, and ours starts with the sleeve. Sleeve the card, slide it into the 3 5/16" x 4 7/8" holder, note it on the form, move to the next. The PVC is acid-free and scratch-resistant, which matters when spare holders sit in a drawer for months between batches. Outside grading season, the extra width suits shipping larger-sized cards a 3x4 shell will not take.

What it does well

  • Restock-sized: a single box covers several grading orders instead of just one.
  • Handy for group submissions where cards from several collectors go out in one shipment.
  • Acid-free, scratch-resistant PVC holds up while spare holders wait between batches.
  • Also handles shipping and storage for larger-sized cards that will not fit a standard toploader.

What 500 holders really means

How far this set goes

Simple arithmetic from the number of shells in the box, so you can match the count to your pile.

Questions about this set

?Who actually needs 500 semi-rigid holders?

Regular submitters, people who organize group orders for friends or a card club, and sellers who send cards to grading in batches. If you submit once a year, the 100-count pack is plenty and takes up far less shelf space.

?Can cards stay in these holders long-term?

Yes. The listing names storage alongside grading and shipping, and the acid-free PVC with an inner soft sleeve keeps scratches and moisture off the card. They are bulkier than toploaders, so plan your box space accordingly.
