Our story
Why we sleeve first
PJU started with a bent corner and a promise not to let it happen again.
- 01
The card
Every collector has one. Ours was a rookie card that went from a pack into a hard plastic loader with no sleeve, rode around in a backpack for a week and came out with a scuffed face and a soft corner. Nothing dramatic happened to it. It just was not protected in the right order.
- 02
The rule
After that we kept one rule at the table: soft sleeve first, shell second. The sleeve guards the surface, the shell guards the shape. Nothing about it is clever, but it only works if both pieces fit each other and you never run out of either.
- 03
The boxes
So that is what PJU makes. Toploaders that come with a soft sleeve for every shell. Semi-rigid holders sized for the grading run, packed with their own sleeves. Magnetic holders for the cards that deserve a shelf. Counts from 30 to 2,000, so the supply shelf grows with the collection.

The people
We make these for collectors who handle their cards: the Friday-night box opener, the set builder with a checklist taped to the wall, the parent sorting Pokémon cards with a seven-year-old, the seller packing twenty singles before work. If you touch your cards, you are who we have in mind.
Sleeve first. Shell second. Everything else is detail.
