Checklist
Grading submission checklist: twelve steps before the box closes
A printable, tick-it-off list for PSA, BGS, SGC and CSG submissions. Use it next to our longer prep guide.

Before you start
- 1. Check the service’s current submission rules and the tier you are paying for
- 2. Count your cards and get one semi-rigid and one soft sleeve each, plus spares
- 3. Clear and wipe a table; wash and dry your hands
Each card
- 4. Look at the card under a bright light and note anything you see
- 5. Photograph front and back
- 6. Slide it into a fresh soft sleeve, bottom first
- 7. Slide the sleeved card into a semi-rigid holder; no tape, no toploaders
- 8. Write it on your submission list in stack order
Packing
- 9. Stack the holders flat and sandwich them between two pieces of cardboard
- 10. Band the stack loosely; never tight enough to bow it
- 11. Fill every gap in the shipping box
- 12. Keep your list, photos and tracking number together until the cards come home
Why semi-rigids
Graders ask for semi-rigid holders because the card has to come out on their bench without a fight. Our 3 5/16" x 4 7/8" holders come with matching 2.6" x 3.6" soft sleeves, from 100 to 1,000 pairs.
